Pam has her BS in Nursing from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences and is certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arkansas. Since graduation, Pam has been involved in management of surgical services in both hospitals and surgery centers.
As the former Director of Nursing and Associate Executive Director for Humana Surgical Hospital in Memphis, she was responsible for day-to-day operations of this surgical hospital, as well as corporate CON development and acquisitions. In 1997 Pam, and her partner Mary Hill, established Consultants in Healthcare, a consulting company designed to provide development and management services for inpatient and outpatient surgical services. As a partner with Consultants in Healthcare, she has consulted on numerous surgery center projects and has been instrumental in building and managing several joint-venture projects. Since opening in October 1999, Pam has been the Facility Administrator for The Springhill Surgery Center. She is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations, financial management, personnel development, managed care contracting, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
